March 15, Ishwar, a cousin brother of mine, all of 33 years of old, passed away in Mumbai. It was due to multiple complications brought on by Colitis of the Intestine. But the saddest part is, that he fought the disease for almost 4-5 years. Just when we all thought he was getting on top of his condition, and was turning the corner..the final blow came. It was most unexpected. Gone in 10 excruciating days.
Its never easy to lose a relative.
Its very much harder to lose a younger cousin, at the prime of his life.
Its the hardest to lose someone, and to watch him slip away, in pain towards the dark unknown world.
I guess the memory of losing Ishwar will haunt my family members for life...and what we will sadly remember is the pain and torture he had to go through.
But the memory of him being incredibly gifted in Music, might be a small memory.
Which is even more tragic. He was almost a prodigy in playing the synthesiser, composing music on his PC and on his synth. He had already composed music with his pals on some original lyrics and songs. I hope the recording and tracks do exist with his friends and with my uncle, somewhere. I hope to create a CD of Ishwar's recordings and post it on my blog someday (sooner the better). While we have lost him in his prime of life, what we need to remember is that his music, his cryptic humour and his habit of reaching out to help people will live forever. If anyone is reading this, please tell me how to upload audio files, on this blog.
